CFP Description
General Requirements
This form is intended only for the submission of full-length talks. If you would like to give a lightning talk or conduct a workshop, we are in favor! However, please send us a separate email at hello@balticruby.org for that. The talk duration should be between 30 to 45 minutes. Humor, audience interaction, singing, and dancing, as well as other types of performances, are highly encouraged!
Principles of Selection
We plan to select around 20 talks, 3 of which will be keynotes, with the rest evenly distributed between speakers from the global stage and the community around the Baltic Sea. We also aim to bring greater balance in terms of audience experience and cover a broader range of topics across the entire Ruby ecosystem. We believe this approach will result in a more diverse program, allowing each attendee to find content that resonates with them while exploring new ideas. The program committee will begin the selection process in February, and we plan to announce the lineup in March.
Potential Topic Areas
In 2025, Baltic Ruby will embrace the theme “Show the Diff!” to gather and showcase the most outstanding examples of Ruby craftsmanship, its frameworks, and the development and application of open-source gems and tools. We encourage developers and maintainers to share their experiences and knowledge with the community. The suggested topics below are meant to inspire and do not limit the choice of speakers. Don’t hesitate to propose bold and creative ideas!
