BITCON2019 is coming!

National nonprofit organization, Blacks in Technology (BIT) is gearing up to host the 2nd edition of their annual conference, BITCON. Looking to make an even bigger impact than before, during October 9-12, BIT will host 4 days of innovative and interactive sessions from demos, lightning talks, labs, workshops, panels, and more. Honing in on the latest technological trends while highlighting the cosmopolitan and tech landscape of the Twin Cities , this is one conference you don’t want to miss. Events include over 50 sessions, Tech Fest, Pitch Competition, Sports Tech Hackathon, Media Lab, and more! With expectations of over 1500 attendees this is one event you don’t want to miss.

What we are looking for

Bring your “A” game. BITCon2019 is going to be extra lit, so we are looking for submissions that are engaging, exciting, original, unique, interesting, and innovative. The sessions will range from demos, lightning talks, labs, workshops, panels, and more.

Abstracts

Your abstract should be written in a manner that draws people in. Make them as dope as possible!!! You want as many people as possible to attend your session so make sure your abstract reflects the passion and energy that you will bring to the session.

This year BIT wants to lead an effort to provide more content that is strictly for the student population. We are looking for sessions that speak directly to students such as “How to land the perfect tech internship”, “Study techniques for the budding computer science student”, “Running a startup as a student” and more.
