AWS ComSum is the Community Summit for AWS users in the UK.
The conference will be held in London on 8th October 2019 at Studio-Spaces. It will be a full-day, two track (plus workshops) conference for 500 people.
The day will consist of talks, workshops and networking and will provide an opportunity for people from all parts of the AWS ecosystem to meet, learn, and share experiences. Session topics will include (but not limited to!) all of the fundamentals such as compute, storage, databases, networking, security etc as well as serverless, AI/ML, the Well-Architected Framework, and Alexa.
The AWS Community Summit is supported by AWS but independent of them. It will provide the community with a platform to have a ‘collective voice’: an opportunity to explore what we love about AWS, but also what we’d like to see improved.
When the sessions finish, the conference turns into a gaming festival: we’ve arranged for Arcade Club to bring over 50 of their arcade machines and VR experiences to the venue. The food, drink, gaming and networking will go on until 10pm.

We are interested in talks from all members of the AWS user community - whether you’re a seasoned pro at presenting or it’ll be your first time out we’d love you to submit a talk. As long as your talk is AWS related it’ll get properly considered: - you choose the length (e.g. a 5 minute lightening talk, or an in-depth, detailed 60 minute presentation, or even a 2 hour workshop) - you choose the topic and depth (e.g. intro or expert tech, level 100 to 400)
We are aiming to have 2 tracks: - Intro Tech (level 100 and 200) - Expert Tech (level 300 and 400)
Alongside these session tracks we also have room for workshops.
