Welcome to the 2023 Cyberjutsu Con, a cybersecurity conference hosted by the Women's Society of Cyberjutsu!
We are looking to provide a day full of hands-on training and presentations about the latest in cutting-edge technologies and developments in the field of cybersecurity. Some topics of interest are cybersecurity career advice, malware and exploits, cyber risk and governance, artificial intelligence, and secure development. In each area, our interest is to promote the accomplishments and expertise of women and minorities and, in all ways, hold a diverse and inclusive conference for everyone. The goal is to help attendees gain hands-on skills for employment in the cybersecurity industry.

- Location: The plan so far is to host a hybrid conference, with the in-person portion in Northern VA. However, this plan may change based on health advisories and concerns.

CFP Description
Thank you for your interest in taking part in Cyberjutsu Con! We couldn’t do this without you.
All talks and workshops in the field of cybersecurity are welcomed. Some topics we would like to see covered include artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, blockchain, cloud technology, disinformation, threat intelligence, digital forensics, zero trust technology, identity and access management (IAM), data privacy, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), automation, secure development (DevSecOps), and drone technology.
Our aim is to have our participants get career advice from those in the industry and learn about advanced topics in cyber.
Call for Papers Priority Deadline: March 3, 2023 at 11:59pm PST
Call for Papers Regular Deadline: April 1, 2023 at 11:59pm PST
Please provide a detailed outline of talking points for your submission. The following items are required:
- Speaker Bio (please include your LinkedIn profile URL)
- Presentation Title
- Description
- High level talking points
- Length of your presentation (e.g., 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour) or proposed workshop (2 hours or 4 hours)
- List of at least 3 actionable takeaways that attendees can implement after your talk
Note: Submissions with these items missing will NOT be selected! The higher quality you provide in this field, the more likely it is that your talk will be selected. Additionally, for presentations exceeding one hour, if selected, will require one-on-one discussion with the organizers. Please mark “Workshop (longer than 1 hour)” if your talk exceeds one hour.
We encourage and welcome first-time speakers to submit! If you are a first-time speaker, or are uneasy about public speaking, we will also provide a mentor to guide you through the process.
