DevHacks is a hackathon with 24hours of coding where the most crazy and bright ideas come to life. DevHacks is an intense competition where we test the resilience, the creative ideas, the impact on society and the cutting-edge technologies our team use.
Our goal is to empower people through technology to solve problems and face day by day challenges. Developers, designers, freelancers, entrepreneurs and students are invited to code, have fun, and bring their ideas to life in 24hours. Top mentors from the IT&C industry will be part of the DevHacks’ experience and will help the teams with their feedback throughout the competition. Moreover, the participants will get the chance to code for leading tech companies in Romania. Some of our past partners are: Accenture, Metro Systems, Softvision and Teamnet.
On 17&18 November, we encourage coders of any age with Java, JavaScript, C/ C++, Python, Blockchain or Web & Mobile, to join us in teams or individually to come up with their original ideas and contribute to the everyday impact on our society!
CFP Description
The mentors are an important ingredient at the hackathons because they inspire and guide the teams to come up with original projects and help them with their feedback throughout the competition.
Last year we had mentors who have played a key role. They helped participants to come up with brilliant ideas and solve problems.
This year we want to go even bigger, so we invite all IT Professionals to be part of the DevHacks’ experience and make this edition unforgettable!
And ideal mentor should:
• Have strong skills in the IT field • Help teams to solve problems or participants who may find themselves getting stuck • Help teams to do their pitches and clearly present the problem they are solving
