The First and Oldest Ruby Conference in Europe celebrates its 20th years anniversary, alongside Ruby 30th birthday and Vilnius 700th years young date.
Euruko is a Ruby conference organised annually, each year in a different European city chosen by the participants. It was firstly held in 2003 and has since become an annual event that brings together developers, enthusiasts, and companies that use Ruby. The conference format includes talks, workshops, and networking opportunities, and is a platform for sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas, and building connections within the Ruby community.
Euruko is being organized for the past 20 years by Ruby developers for Ruby developers. It’s a truly volunteer-based event and like Ruby it is fostered by the community. Our attendees enjoy its informal atmosphere and lots of opportunities to listen, to talk, to hack and to have fun.
Euruko 2023 will be held an online and onsite in Vilnius, Lithuania. This hybrid approach will make our conference equally good for both in-person and remote participants.
Last year Euruko: 600+ in-person attendees; 150+ online attendees; 45+ countries in total; 280 litres of coffee and tea; 110+ questions asked via Slido.
