FyneConf 2021 is the latest chance for the Fyne community, contributors and everyone interested, to gather and learn more about the Fyne toolkit and it’s ecosystem. This virtual event will cover what’s new in the latest toolkit release, tips, best practices and demonstrations of Fyne apps and the roadmap for future Fyne development. Through talks and code demonstrations attendees will see how to quickly and easily build graphical applications that work across all their computing platforms.
This conference is planned to be a half day event, taking place online at a time that is convenient for as many people as possible. We may also run workshop sessions if the demand is high enough.
We are looking to present a varied set of topics that relate to Fyne, GUI development with Go and how to target multiple platforms with native compiled apps. We are most likely to accept talks that discuss how to use the Fyne toolkit, Fyne-x extensions, FyneDesk environment or a project that is developed with these technologies, but related topics would be considered.
This conference will be an online event so presenters should be prepared to set up their own device, audio and webcam that is suitable for broadcasting (though a basic setup should be sufficient). These talks will be recorded and uploaded to our YouTube channel after the event. Pre-recorded or live submissions will be accepted.
Talks should be around 25 minutes so we can allow some time for questions, filling a 30 minute slot in total.
