The 21st Century Software Perth Z Community aims to engage, grow and develop the mainframe community in Perth. We welcome anyone with an interest in Z to come along to our events to learn and network with like-minded professionals.
This will be a free hybrid event!
Join us in person and enjoy the complimentary food and drinks while networking. This will be followed by a series of educational mainframe-related sessions from our local and international speakers. Those who can’t join us in person are welcome to attend and present remotely.
Agenda:
- 4pm (AWST): Registration and networking (light refreshments provided)
- 5pm (AWST): Welcome followed by a series of sessions and lightning talks
- 7pm (AWST): Networking (dinner provided)
CFP Description
Are you a mainframe professional willing to share your experiences, insights and knowledge? We are looking for educational sessions across all areas of the mainframe platform.
Ideas for topic areas include (but are not limited to):
- Security
- z/OS Container Extensions (zCX)
- Technical writing
- Encryption
- Data analytics
- Modernisation e.g. Zowe
The following types of sessions will be offered at our event:
- 30-minute Session (presentation & discussion)
- 10-minute Lightning talk
All proposed sessions will be reviewed by the Submission Review Panel who will then select the sessions for the event. Sales/marketing type presentations will not be considered.

- Panel review submissions: 27th October 2021
- Event agenda finalised: 28th October 2021
- Submitters notified: 28th October 2021
- Speakers must supply presentation slides: 4th November 2021
