The twelfth Prairie Dev Con will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba on June 6-7, 2017! This two day software development conference brings technical experts from across North America to share their knowledge and expertise with the local developer community. The conference has over 50 sessions covering a wide range of technical topics!
The conference covers airfare and hotel for selected speakers from within North America. We do not provide travel coverage for people outside of North America at this time.
CFP Description
Prairie Dev Con caters to a wide range of developers using technologies all over the map. We try to focus content on the most requested topic areas, and you’ll find a current list of the top requested topics below. This year seems slanted to development practices, team management, web development, cloud, and data topics. We’d like a mix of introduction and deep dive sessions in all these areas.
Sessions are 60 min in length, typically lecture style but we’re open to other ideas as well. Out of town speakers are asked to do two presentations, and local speakers are asked to do one. Please submit at least two talks if you’re an out of town speaker.
Presenters are responsible for bringing their own laptop, but all other A/V equipment will be provided.
