Accepting Submissions

Queer Code London is a meetup for queer programmers. We run talks, workshops, and social events. We have over 900 members and have run a wide range of events, from React workshops to open coding sessions to cultural events like theatre and museum trips.

We are now aiming to produce monthly evening talk nights showing the great work that queer people are doing in the tech community. We are looking for speakers to fill our session dates.

This event is a ‘placeholder’ for each of our meetups. The event dates are still to be confirmed. They will run between 6pm - 8pm in central London locations. Past events have had between 20 and 40 attendees.

CFP Description

We are seeking speakers of all experience levels who have interesting stories to tell.

You can choose to talk about whatever you want, however please bear in mind that the audience will be programmers (of all levels). It could be language focused, team focused or perhaps an experience report. If we accept your submission we will then continue discussion to decide a specific time and location for your talk.

We would love to hear from first time speakers. We are happy to give you feedback at every stage of the process, and will work with you to produce a compelling talk.
