Oklahoma City’s Cybersecurity Conference is returning in-person for 2023 at the Oklahoma City Convention Center!
The S3CCON cybersecurity conference is in its fourth year and we’re anticipating 200-250 attendees with a wide range of job titles including a majority of manager and director level attendees. Cybersecurity presentations emphasizing business impact to deep technical presentations are welcome.
Oklahoma City is known for community and S3ccon brings many of the top security engineers together for ongoing education and networking!
Talk submissions are expected to relate to cybersecurity. For 2023, we will have two tracks of speakers:
- A technical track that delves into new exploits, tools, and technical tips.
- A leadership focused track that tackles management of tools, processes, and teams.
Our team will review and rate your proposal based solely on the information you provide. Be as detailed as possible so we can gauge your knowledge of the topic and ability to deliver a compelling talk on that subject. Proposals will be rated based on the selection criteria below. Please demonstrate, as best as you can, that your proposal meets these criteria, so our reviewers feel confident about recommending it.
Relevance. The talk is relevant to the infosec community. S3CCON is a cybersecurity conference so our audience wants to hear about topics that relate to cybersecurity. Clarity. You’ve clearly explained what you are going to talk about. Correctness. You’ve demonstrated accurate knowledge of your topic. You don’t have to be an expert, but you are expected to be speaking from experience. Impact. What can the audience expect to take away from this talk? What new idea, technique, tool, or other information will you impart to them?
We will have two rounds of the CFP
Round 1: September 1-30, 2022
Round 1 speakers will be notified: October 14, 2022
Round 2: October 1-31, 2022
Round 2 speakers will be notified: November 11, 2022
Conference day: March 10, 2023
We encourage potential speakers to submit more than one talk. The more submissions you contribute, the more options you give us to pick you as a speaker. We do not accept sales pitches.
