Join us for Sensu Summit on September 9-10, 2019 at Revolution Hall in Portland, Oregon.

We’ll get together for two days of talks, workshops, and great conversations about all things monitoring. Bonus: this year we’re pleased to time Sensu Summit with DevOpsDays Portland, happening September 10-12. Attend two awesome conferences during your visit to the lovely city of Portland!

Missed last year’s event? You can catch up on all the videos on our YouTube channel— featuring talks from Kelsey Hightower, Box.com, Industrial Light & Magic, and more — and read the recap on our blog.

CFP Description

This year, we’d like to hear from folks in the Sensu Community and beyond.

Here are a few ideas to spark talk topics:

Tell us how you’re automating. What processes and systems do you automate? How does automation help you manage operational work? Does monitoring have a role in your CI/CD pipeline?

We want to hear your people stories. How do you cultivate, recruit, and retain SREs? What are the ethics and the impact of our systems on people? What steps do you take to ensure delightful developer experiences (including, but not limited to, mitigating alert fatigue)? Does your organization advocate multi-disciplinary training across engineers, developers, tech leads, and managers?

Is open source integral to your organization? According to Google Cloud’s 2018 State of DevOps report, “58% of respondents agreed that their team made extensive use of open source components, libraries, and platforms, with over 50% agreeing that their team planned to expand use of open source software.” We want to hear about the role open source plays in your company, how you contribute, and advice for new contributors.
