REMARK: This is a request for an Onsite Event. People submitting an abstract should be willing to come to Winterthur/Switzerland for one day and provide an online presentation only in exceptional cases.

CfP details: The main focus in addition to standard Oracle Technology of this SOUG DAY is “Security”. This means, if you have any kind of security presentation, e.g. regarding Security on/with Database(s) (also Open Source), experiences with ransomware, hacking (also ethical hacking), field reports of handling tasks after security breaches,…, please submit - even if you don’t have anything to do with Oracle! Talks can be totally independent from Oracle technology! We do plan three different streams, at least one should be 100% dedicated to security presentations!

But even if you don’t speak over Security - we also have up to 2 complete one-day streams regarding Oracle technologies. What’s next with APEX or Javascript in the database, do you have any POC or other experiences? Are there any problems and solutions running BI, DBs, Weblogics, Exa… on-premises or in the cloud? What about collaboration, project management or other soft skills? Any interesting cloud scenarios, real world experiences with running Oracle or Open Source technology on third-party clouds? We prefer to select end customer presentations (or consultants presenting together with end customers) if there are similar talks submitted! In addition, we can provide one or two panel slots - if you do have a topic but you may need additional panelists, please submit the topic. We can look for other panel participants.
