Jim serves as the CTO and Technology Practice Lead at Infinitive where he has overall responsibility for the Technical Direction, Investments, Solution Development, Client Delivery and Implementation and heads the company’s innovation program to assess new technology solutions.
Jim has 22 years of Information Technology experience performing a wide ranging technology roles. Jim is a Senior Certified Cloud Practitioner and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Expert, AWS Evangelist and AWS Early Adopter with over 12 years of AWS experience. He held an Executive level role as Chief Technologist at Blue Canopy where he focused on Big Data, Information Management, Data Science, Analytics, Cloud Computing (AWS / Azure), Cloud Security, Agile, FinOps, DevOps, Automated Testing, IoT and Social Media Analytics. He’s a thought leader in Cloud and Data Analytics – and comes with a strong consulting, business development, solutions development and program management background from prior firms such as MCI Worldcom, Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, Booz Allen Hamilton, Blue Canopy (acquired by Jacobs in 2017) and Jacobs.
Jim led one of the first, if not the first Cloudability FinOps implementation for the US Government in 2015 - he lives and breaths cloud and innovation and is a die hard Pearl Jam fan and Travel nut!
