I am a Principal Consultant at Capacitas Ltd and services that focus on the Capacity and Performance discipline. My experience in this field goes back to the ’80s in this field when I started work on systems performance management for large IBM mainframe platforms.
I have worked extensively on cloud-based technologies providing performance engineering, performance testing and cloud costs optimisation services. I am currently seeking my AWS Solution Architect Pro certification.
In 2018 I worked with a large multi-billion US company for an extended period of time to deliver the AWS cost optimisation programme. The company had many complex application architectures and presented and culturally represented a real challenge for right-sizing and AWS costs reduction. However, the target saving objective was achieved and exceeded.
Capacitas is in the process of becoming an AWS Advanced Partner, offering ‘Extended WAF Reviews’ where cost optimisation, reliability and performance efficiency are particularly put under the microscope. From 12th August Capacitas will be offering this service through AWS MarketPlace.
