Bio
I was born and raised in Romania, but I have been living in South Florida for the past 16 years. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2017 and recently finished my MBA with concentrations in Business Intelligence/Analytics from Nova Southeastern University. I chose this program because it combines math, statistics, computer science and business, which are all fields I have studied at some point during undergraduate and have always been interested in. In my spare time, I enjoy giving back as a frequent Alumna speaker to inspire others in following STEM career paths. I have worked as an analyst for the Florida Panthers, Sony Music, Royal Caribbean, and now I am a Strategy/Analytics Manager at Zumba. During my time with these various companies, I worked closely with Power BI and Tableau, creating dashboards to identify sales trends and monitor performance, ensuring sales effectiveness. In my current role, I am responsible for interpreting patterns within sales data and presenting strategic recommendations and insights to executives. My hobbies include all sorts of entertainment from sports, to movies and tv shows. My newest hobby has been exercising, which is greatly encouraged by my employer, Zumba. Prior to COVID, I really enjoyed traveling around the world. Some of my favorite places have been Budapest, southern Spain, and Cancun.
