Rishin Mitra

Rishin Mitra: Rishin Mitra is an Oracle Certified IT professional having 10 years of industry experience in Applications Development. Currently he is working as Senior Oracle Technical Consultant with Version 1. He has got extensive knowledge of working on Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle ERP Cloud, OBIEE and Informatica, and has been involved in development and large-scale global delivery of various projects in products and services. He worked as a Senior Applications Engineer at Oracle and has worked on multiple legislative projects for EMEA as part of the Oracle E-Business Suite Globalization team. He has joined Version 1 in 2018 and has been working as a Senior Technical Consultant in Oracle E-Business Suite since. He regularly participates in UKOUG Conferences, and this is the first time he is submitting a paper for UKOUG Conference.

Jason Shannon: Jason Shannon is a Database Administrator with the Almac Group. An Oracle Certified Professional, he first started working with the Oracle Database in 1995 using Oracle 6. In 2003 he was part of a team that delivered what was then the largest Data Warehouse in the United Kingdom using Oracle Database 8i, Oracle Express and Oracle Designer. He joined Almac in 2006 and has since been responsible for the administration of their EBusiness Suite implementation, first upgrading their instance from 11.5.4 to 11.5.10 and then, in 2009, became the first person in Ireland to upgrade from 11.5.10 to R12. That same instance was upgraded to 12.1.3 in 2014 and has now moved to 12.2.9. An ambassador for the Oracle Application and Technology User Group (OATUG), he regularly attends and contributes at Collaborate and OpenWorld.
