Bio

I qualified in B.Tech Urban and Regional Planning from the Federal University of Technology, Yola in Nigeria. A self-motivated young Town Planner with a little over 3years of experience in the planning and geospatial Industry. This had gone a long way in helping me gain valuable skills and knowledge towards applying Geo-Spatial Technology to my field. I have acquired skills in urban design, spatial analysis, report writing, research, ICT, mobile data collection and GIS Mapping for Development Projects from experience in working with peers and organizations. I have worked on and presented research papers on the Spatial Distribution of Automobile Workshops in 2016, Tackling COVID-19 and its impact in Nigeria through geospatial technology in 2021, Spatial Analysis of Neighborhood Security, Application of GIS Technique in the Mapping of Neighborhood Crime Incidents, Corona Virus Disease (The Epidemic, Spread, Decline and Challenges in Nigeria 2021. The knowledge obtained from the past years has opened my eyes to the various environmental problems and that has made me so keen on applying this technology to help solve crime issues. Currently working on how to implement an early warning response application and the correlation of crime and urban land use in Nigeria. I have made excellent progress in geo-spatial analytics, social/geographic surveys and urban design/planning skills.
