Omotola Eunice Omotayo is the community manager at Outreachy, a paid remote Internship in Open Source and Open Science for people subject to systemic bias and impacted by underrepresentation in the technical industry where they are living. Omotola is passionate about empowering women and marginalized populations, especially through technology. She leads the community manager team at She Code Africa, a non-profit organization focused on celebrating and empowering young Girls and Women in Technology across Africa
Omotola is an experienced community manager who has worked in diverse and inclusive teams since 2019. Omotola uses she/her pronouns. She understands how communities work, and creates an extraordinarily welcoming and safe environment for community users. She has successfully managed community brands and online presences in the technology, business, and development world. She is passionate about speaking on Diversity, Inclusion and Equity, Women empowerment, and Open Source
