STC Squared, the Springfield Tech Council’s Springfield Tech Conference, is a casual, fast-paced learning event with excellent networking opportunities for the 417 area and beyond. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the Doubletree by Hilton in Springfield, Missouri.

STC Squared organizers are seeking speakers to cover 30-40 sessions covering a wide range of technology topics. Sessions should be 35 minutes in length with or without Q&A. Our attendees vary greatly in experience and stature from c-level executives to first-year developers to cybersecurity pros to help desk. We’re looking for a range of content to teach, inspire, and challenge all of them.

Rooms will have HDMI connections with displays appropriate for the room size.

On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, we will host local college students at a separate event the afternoon before the conference. We are looking for submissions geared for students for this event. If you wish to submit for the student event, please include ‘student session’ in the title of your submission. All sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers are welcome to attend the student event for no charge.

Submissions for this event closes on Saturday, December 31, 2022.

Our inaugural event in 2022 had 235 attendees, 29 local and national sponsors, and was a rousing success. We are planning to have 500 attendees in 2023.

This event is free to attendees. Event registration will go live in early 2023.
