Tech Rocks est une conférence dédiée aux Tech Leaders français.
Techs.Rocks est une initiative portée par les Tech Leaders de Meilleurs agents, Lydia, Talentsoft, Teemo, Saagie, Happn, Shopmium, Docker, Devialet, Alkemics, L’Equipe, Alan, Theodo, Botify, Mixr, Le Bon Coin, Bam, Openclassroom, Doctolib, Netatmo, Brigad, Oxalide/Claranet, joli Moi, Leetchi, Algolia, Deezer, Vide Dressing, Evaneos, Vente-Privée, Mappy, Lendix, Alkemics, Molotov TV, La Fourchette, France TV, TF1, Dailymotion, StaffMe, EVERoad, MNT et bien d’autres encore !
Les deux premières éditions ont accueilli entre 300 et 500 CTOs venus de toute la France pour une riche journée d’interactions.
Cette troisième édition avec une salle supplémentaire pour des ateliers ou sessions de découverte.

Tech Rocks is a one-day conference dedicated to the French Tech Leaders.
The Techs.Rocks initiative is fostered and managed by the tech leaders of Meilleurs agents, Lydia, Talentsoft, Teemo, Saagie, Happn, Shopmium, Docker, Devialet, Alkemics, L’Equipe, Alan, Theodo, Botify, Mixr, Le Bon Coin, Bam, Openclassroom, Doctolib, Netatmo, Brigad, Oxalide/Claranet, joli Moi, Leetchi, Algolia, Deezer, Vide Dressing, Evaneos, Vente-Privée, Mappy, Lendix, Alkemics, Molotov TV, La Fourchette, France TV, TF1, Dailymotion, StaffMe, EVERoad, MNT and many more!
The first two editions hosted between 300 and 500 CTOs and tech leaders, coming from all around France and eager to interact with each other.
This third edition will have a main stage as well as another stage for workshops and/or discovery sessions.

Techs.Rocks 2019 aura lieu le 5 décembre 2019 et sera la seconde conférence pour et par les CTOs en particulier et pour Techs Leaders plus généralement. Elle se déroulera à Station F sous la forme d’une journée dual-tracks avec des panels, 2 ou 3 Keynotes de 50 minutes, et une dizaine de conférences de 20 -30 minutes.
Les sujets recherchés sont ceux qui concernent les postes de CTO et autres Techs Leaders qui ont besoin de faire les bons choix pour scaler leurs entreprises :

- “Permettre aux CTO de mieux maitriser l’environnement de l’entreprise”
- Culture
- Rôle

- Relations avec l’entreprise
- Gestion d’un Co-Dir, Board …
Quelques exemples de topics recherchés : Comment scaler ses équipes techniques / comment recruter, Gérer les carrières de ses équipes (et la sienne), Attirer/Chasser/Recruter/Retenir/turn over. Retour sur le management distribué (team en remote), Comment être un leader tech sans produire de la tech, Comment donner plus de poids à la technique dans les orientations stratégiques de l’entreprise, Gérer des développeurs de la génération Z,…
La conférence sera organisée en mode “no bull shit”, les interventions ne seront pas filmées et il sera demandé aux participants de ne pas twitter, ni relayer ce qui est dit.

Techs.Rocks 2019 will take place on December 5th 2019 and will be the third conference organized especially for - and by - the CTOs, and more generally the Tech Leaders. It will be hosted at Station F, the world’s biggest startup campus and will offer two tracks with 2 or 3 Keynotes (50 minutes), round tables and a dozen of talks and presentations (20 to 30 minutes).
The topics we are looking for are those enabling CTOs and Tech Leaders to make the best informed choices possible to scale their companies and this include :

- Enable CTO to better master the corporate environment
- Culture,
- Job and responsibilities,
- Management,
- Organization,
- Leadership,
- Interactions,
- Recruitment,
- Relationships with the company,
- Board / direction committee management,
- etc.
Here a few examples of topics we are interested in : how to scale technical teams, how to recruit them, how to manage tech carreers (including of his own), Attract / Recruit / Retain, head hunting, turnover, remote teams and “distributed management”, how to be a tech leader without producing tech, how to give more importance to technology in the strategic choices of the company, how to manage developers from the Z generation, …
Technology subjects:
- Enable CTOs to better understand what the technologies can bring in a corporate strategic context.
- Security, Infrastructure, Legacy,
- etc.
Here a few examples of topics we are interested in : how to choose an infrastructure to scale, when to choose and how to manage an uncommon stack, the secrets of a good deployment, what will be tomorrow’s “star stack”, technologies’ life cycles, Secret & IP management, Continuous Integration, Legacy management…
The conference’s motto will be “no bullshit” and the talks won’t be recorded so that the speakers can be fully free to discuss what matters the most to them.
