# Join us at TIGERHACKS 2018.
This non-profit, student-run event, also known as a hackathon, will be held October 12th-14th at the University of Missouri’s newly renovated Lafferre Hall in Columbia, Missouri.
The best and brightest student developers from all around the region will come together for a weekend of technology related projects. As a speaker, you will have the opportunity to influence and interact with a community of more than 400 students from around the region who are building innovative projects during the hackathon.
For a chance to speak at this year’s hackathon, please fill out the form and we will keep you updated about your submission’s status by September 15th, 2018. You can submit as many session proposals as you want. The length of a session is 45 minutes, if you’d like to propose something different please let us know in the appropriate fields below.
Our attendees are all eager students ranging from high school to grad students. In the past, our sessions included presenters from Microsoft, Centene, and other technology-focused companies.
We are interested in interactive workshops that can range from mobile application(iOS, Andriod), web development(including cloud, full stack, etc), and so much more!
The primary focus is to enhance a student developer’s skill set to complete a project in a weekend. We will only require you to speak one day at this 3-day event. Please include the skill set required to attend your workshop or talk. These can range from beginner, intermediate, to advanced.
If you are looking to give a beginner’s talk please refer to our other pre-event TigerTalks as well! We ask those who do “intro-to” talks to speak there.
