Conference in the Cloud is a high-quality online technical conference that celebrates the family of Perl programming languages. The beauty of the conference is that it remains accessible to everyone regardless of experience, yet it is still valuable to the most skilled programmers.

COVID-19 has kept us all home. However we still have great things to share about Perl and Raku. Join us for a 3 day event including interactive talks and forums.

The Conference held via a series of interactive group meetings on those days.

CFP Description

UPDATE: Talks for our conference are accepted and we have a full schedule. However we will be accepting a handful of talks in a few standby slots with the assumption that things will happen and some accepted talks will need to be cancelled.

We are interested in hearing talks on a wide variety of subjects. This includes Perl 5, Raku, database integration, drones, puppies, and any other topics that may be of general interest to Perl and Raku programmers. Please review the talk schedules from previous years to help with additional ideas.

You should plan to have a headset with microphone so you can be understood well. Expect your session to be interactive in that people can ask questions as you go. Also expect your session to be recorded and later published on https://youtube.com/yapcna

We hereby invite you to participate by submitting a talk! We encourage you to submit your talk as early as possible.

We will be accepting proposals for the following session types: Standard Talks (50 minutes) Short Talks (20 minutes)

Important Information: First Round Submissions accepted Now (Closes April 10, 2020 12:00 UTC) Second Round Submissions: TBD

Be sure to provide a contact email that you check regularly and add both the papercall.io and perlconference.us domains to your Allow List
