Away from the Silicon Valley’s eyes, the Nepalese IT industry has been growing steadily for the last decade, but lurking under the shadows. We have now reached a point where we can make a mark at the global level.
wwktm is an opportunity to gather experts, both national and international, and create an environment for new partnerships, collaborations and learning groups to be formed. We want to create a space that encourages participation and then the dynamics of the group will take over the direction.
The two day conference is divided into one day of formal talks and one day of hiking in the hills around Kathmandu.

We like to see anything that fits into the spectrum of but not limited to:
- Cutting-edge technological advances in the web or computer science in general. It should be related to the web somehow.
- Internet governance and new models of internet
- Peer to Peer web
- Improving Developers’ life
- Fundamentals, in a modern light
- Philosophy and Ethics for the web
- Privacy & Security
- Tips & Tricks
- Interesting Experiences
- And finally: Whatever the hell you want; this is your conference
Talk Format
All talks should/will be
- approximately 25 minutes long
- In English Language. If you have an exceptional talk in Nepali, please apply. Language should not be the reason to discourage you from applying.
- reviewed by the wwktm team
- recorded and published with consent
- followed by max 10 minutes of QnA session (not confirmed)
