Agile Tour Zürich 2019 will be the second edition of Agile Tour in Zurich. We aim to become the biggest conference about agility in Switzerland.
We are a part of the Agile Tour, a serie of non-profit events over several cities around the world throughout October and December.
Our main goal is to spread the word about agility, its principles and the related methodologies and practices. The talks and workshops will cover management, organizational practices, team dynamics and technical practices.
We welcome speakers from all over Europe. The whole conference is in English, talks and workshops included.

CFP Description
Agile Tour is a conference where beginners and experienced agilists can meet and share their experiences.
Format
The format can be a simple talk with slides or other support (or no slide and support at all…), workshops or even coding sessions.
Return on experience are welcome, keeping in mind that it should lead to a clear conclusion with lessons to learn. For technical workshops, if you need participants to bring their own laptop and prepare something in advance, please let us know directly so this can be taken into account and communicated clearly.
Duration
Talk duration is 45 min. Please, reserve some minutes for Q&A.
For workshops or other justified cases, 2 slots can be booked to have a total of 90 minutes. We encourage shorter sessions as people attention and attendance can be quite low when too long.
Topics
The topic should be clearly related to agility, both for organizational and technical practices.
Here some main topics we are looking for:
- Coaching and facilitation
- Scrum, Kanban
- Lean
- DevOps
- TDD, BDD, refactoring, etc.
- Product Management
- Scaling Agile
- Agile outside IT

If you feel you can propose a keynote, just note it in your proposal.
What we expect to find in the proposal
We are aware that the final contents of the proposal might not be ready until days or weeks before the event. And that is fine for us. If you have a great idea that you want to share and the speech, the slides or flipcharts are not still finalized in this moment, you can also submit a proposal with a brief description of the talk. We will consider it anyway!
