AnxietyTech is a unique conference hoping to inspire developers to build for mental health. It’s being held at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco on July 18, 2018. We will be featuring startups building technology for mental health as well as people talking about some of the specific mental health challenges in the tech community!

CFP Description

We are looking to feature speakers (and startups) that are using technology to support mental health and mental illness.

There are really two topics we are looking for:

Building Technology to Improve Mental Health

Tell us how you are using modern technology to improve mental health. Maybe you are building robots that provide comfort to children in distress. Maybe you are using machine learning to help therapists improve their diagnoses. Do you know some tricks to build less stressful web experiences? We would love to hear from you!

We are especially interested in talks that are aimed at developers. Show them how they can use this technology.

Mental Health/Illness in Tech

We are also seeking talks from members of the tech community about mental health issues they face in the workplace and how they’ve successfully dealt with them

For example:

  • How I’ve managed to avoid burnout working in open-source
  • How social media is ruining everyone’s mental health (and how to change that)
  • How to talk about your mental health at work

Note: If you have a workshop idea we may be able to accommodate it. Simply send us an e-mail at info@anxietytech.com.
