Built on Box Platform: How Startups are Building Apps on Box

Box Platform helps businesses of all sizes built enterprise-grade applications in the cloud. In this session, we’ll see how disruptive technology startups are tackling highly-regulated industries and outdated methods of working with new software products built on the Box Platform.

Using Serverless Technologies for Enterprise Apps

The advent of new technologies has created a new norm of development without traditional servers. This has created a new opportunity for software developers to easily build and deploy cloud applications, and also requires cloud API providers to provide tools for developers building in server-less environments. In this session, we’ll discuss the growing popularity of server-less development and the types of tools available to serverless developers. We’ll also provide a tutorial for how to use AWS Lambda, Amazon’s serverless environment, with Box Platform.

360, 3D, VR, and More: A Deep Dive Into Box’s Preview Technology

The future of content in the enterprise goes way beyond static documents and images. Using the Box’s preview technology, you can display nearly any type of file in your apps with just a few lines of code. In this session, we’ll take a dive into some of the more advanced file types and how we built our preview technology at Box.

Designing Better User Experiences with Box UI Elements

We get it. Building a great user experience is hard. At Box, we’ve spent more than 10 years designing, developing, and iterating on a cloud content management application millions of people around the world use every day. In this session, we’ll take a deep dive into the Box UI Kit, a collection of Javascript libraries that allow developers to leverage parts of the Box UI in their own apps.
