MIX-AI Summit
MIX is aimed at researchers, innovators and thought leaders from the both the public and private sectors. The raison d’être of MIX is to break down barriers between researchers and innovators and to promote Multidisciplinary Innovation eXchange. The core theme of the 2018 MIX is Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how its potential can be harnessed across sectors and disciplines to address today’s most pressing global challenges. Call for Papers
MIX-AI will present some of the latest high-quality results and breakthroughs in Artificial Intelligence. The topics are framed to match the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 societal challenges. It is planned that the results and papers presented at the conference will constitute a significant and holistic contribution to the growing knowledge based within the area of AI. To ensure this, the conference will consider and present research that is related to addressing the following areas:
- AI for Health and Wellbeing
- AI for Food/Agriculture & the Bioeconomy
- AI for Energy & Environment
- AI for Transportation
- AI and its impact on Society
- AI for Business & Finance
If your research is related to any of these topics, then we welcome a submission from you. Submissions can be from anywhere in the world and from any discipline.
Deadlines
- February 1st, 2018 - Submissions Open
- March 16th, 2018 - Submissions Deadline
- April 20th 2018 - Notification Due
- May 11th - Final Version of Paper Due
MIX PRIZE
To encourage high-quality submissions and to showcase its commitment to being a catalyst for innovation, MIX-AI is offering a €10,000 prize for the best submission on how Artificial Intelligence can change the world or solve global problems, subject to T&Cs. Submissions related to the Artificial Intelligence and deemed of extraordinary quality will be considered for the prize. The submission can be either a paper, a talk, or a keynote speech. The MIX PRIZE will be awarded on the last day of the conference.
