Cleveland PyLadies is a local chapter of PyLadies. We are an open and inclusive Python user group explicitly focused on engaging women and underrepresented populations in tech, specifically in and around Northeast Ohio. We are a local chapter of the global Pyladies organization.
CFP Description
Supporting Diversity in Northeast Ohio
Cleveland PyLadies welcomes speakers & participants of any gender, but specifically seeks speakers that identify as female or non-binary and speakers that generally advocate for environments supporting diversity and inclusion in tech.
Topics
We are seeking a broad range of topics within the spaces of Python and diversity in tech, with attempts to provide variety in our scheduled offerings. If we’ve had a long string of advanced talks, we prefer to receive beginner talks, and vice versa.
Dates
We tend to host two meetings per month, with the specific dates being flexible to accommodate visiting speakers. If you will be traveling to Cleveland for work and are interested in giving a talk, submit a proposal or reach out to us directly.
