On Saturday October 26th, 2019, we will be bringing together the brightest minds in West-Central Wisconsin to celebrate our shared passion for creating and developing software!

This Chippewa Valley Developers Group in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is a group of software developers who love our craft and we’d love to have you present at our code camp on Saturday, October 26th.

Whether you sling C#, play with Python, rock Ruby, or love JavaScript or go nuts for Go, you’ll fit in great. We’re all about building a community of developers who want to learn, grow and share what they know. Students, professionals, and hobbyists are always welcome!

Things to know

  1. There is no travel assistance.
  2. The size of the camp over the past 11 years has varied between 80 and 140 people.
  3. Talks are 60 minutes. We recommend having 45 minute talk, while allowing for 15 minutes of Q&A.
  4. The event is free for all attendees.
  5. We’ll have a light breakfast, and free lunch for presenters.
  6. There is an event after the code camp.
  7. Everyone participating in our code camp is asked to follow our code of conduct.
  8. The submission process is anonymous - we only see your name, bio and contact info until after the talks are selected.

CFP Description

We are looking for talks about web development, mobile development, full-stack development, cloud technologies, automation, deployment, databases, tooling, IoT, and anything else under the software development umbrella.

Tell us about what you’ll cover in your talk. Be specific. To increase your chances of being selected, be sure to provide the following in your submission:

  1. Who’s this talk for
  2. What will they learn about
  3. What will they be able to do when they leave your talk?

This CFP is anonymous! Do not include any details that reveal your identity to the speaker committee. We do not see your contact info, bio or name until after the talks are selected.
