deploy is DigitalOcean’s virtual conference for global development teams. The 2022 theme is Subtract Complexity, Add Developer Happiness. Create Software That Changes The World, Simpler.
The conference will unpack the natural state of complexity when creating multi-layered applications and approach it with pretty sweet (and simple) solutions. We’ll pay homage to DigitalOcean’s growing community of business builders and social impact developers by sharing their startup journeys and demonstrating ideal pathways to help attendees get from point A to B faster.

Calling all developer advocates, industry experts, and/or leadership executives! We’re looking for speakers that can create talks around solving complex problems with practical (and simple) strategies. Technologies & topics include:
Cloud-native
- Kubernetes, serverless, microservices, IoT
Databases
- MySQL
- Redis
- PostgreSQL
- MongoDB
Security & privacy practices
- Keeping data safe
- Securing DigitalOcean Droplets, Kubernetes, Databases, etc
- Interesting attacks and how you solved them

Speaker Requirements
Each session will be 25 minutes long: 20 minutes for the talk, and 5 minutes for Q&A. Speaker will be required to:
- Submit a talk outline
- Prepare a 20-minute presentation & submit by August 1st, 2022
- Attend a dry run session with the deploy team to ensure comfortability
- Be available after the live session to answer attendee questions
