TEQnation the future is OPEN.. is the open source event in the Netherlands and will bring together a unique blend of CTOs, IT architects and managers, experts and developers. Presentations, tutorials, keynotes, workshops and hands-summits will be part of the Devnation the Future is Open.

Welcome to the official Open Tech Day Call for Papers application. Only session proposals submitted through this application will be reviewed by the program committee. On April 25, 2018 Devnation the future is open will be held. The conference will be taking place at conference venue ‘Jaarbeurs’ in Utrecht, Netherlands. The organizing committee is looking for you as a speaker to present your session in one of the available timeslots. If you have an interesting Open related topic that you would like to present, this is your chance. A timeslot has 45 minutes. Attendees typically have intermediate to advanced open source experience and are looking for practical content to enhance their knowledge. Most valued sessions include best practices, code samples and/or live demos. Besides regular technical sessions, we are also looking for hands-on labs proposals, interactive workshops and unconference-style sessions. Submitting multiple papers is allowed of course. Attendees typically have intermediate to advanced Linux & Open source experience and are looking for practical content to enhance their knowledge. Most valued sessions include best practices, code samples and/or live demos. Besides regular technical sessions, we are also looking for hands-on labs proposals, interactive workshops and unconference-style sessions. Session types : Content can be any of the following four session types: • Technical session - a 45 minutes presentation style session featuring technical content. Keynotes, and early-bird sessions are also considered to be technical sessions. • Hands-on labs (HOL) - a 95 minutes session that features self-guided lab descriptions for participants who bring their own laptops to experiment with certain technology. Typically a HOL features one or more instructors for troubleshooting. • Interactive workshop - a 45 minutes workshop with interaction with the attendees. An interactive workshop is ideal to present a new product or service (even if work is in progress). • Unconference - a 45 minutes facilitated, participant driven session centered around a theme or purpose. This kind of session will allow for more audience interaction led by a discussion leader.
