DevRelCon is the world’s leading developer relations, developer experience and developer marketing conference. Focusing on practitioner to practitioner content, DevRelCon draws people from across the world to come learn and share about their craft, whether they call themselves developer advocate, technical evangelist, community manager, growth hacker or something entirely different.

Increasing numbers of people or companies in China are working to build developer communities and spread developer adoption of software, APIs and other tools, but how to build the great DevRel is still not familiar to most companies. Come to join us and share your experience on developer relations, developer experience and developer marketing.

DevRelCon China 2018 will be held on April 21, 2018, in Suzhou, China. Suzhou is a very important city in Yangtze River delta, East China, and it’s well known as the back yard garden of Shanghai. It’s suggested to arrive at Shanghai by flight and then come to Suzhou taking the airport shuttle or the bullet train within 2 hours. To facilitate this, we’ll try our best to arrange a coach between the airport and Suzhou, and cover the accommodation for speakers.

CFP Description

We’re looking forward to talks focusing on one or some aspects below:

a. importance of DevRel as a corporate level strategy

b. understanding the developers and marketing towards them

c. building a passionate developer community and help improve your products

d. sharing ways to promote the developer experience

We also welcome submissions on other themes, so long as they’re of interest to a developer relations audience. However, please do not submit your NodeJS, Docker, devops (or any other technology-specific) talks as that just wastes everybody’s time.

Please note that, while we’re aiming for 30 minute talk slots, some slots may be shorter or longer. We will discuss that with you if your talk is accepted.
