The **LAC-CSIRTs Meeting** brings together people who care about improving cybersecurity through **collaboration, trust, and shared experience**. Our goal is to create an open and welcoming space where security professionals across **Latin America and the Caribbean** can connect with peers from the **global cybersecurity community**.
The meeting gathers professionals from **CSIRTs, national and governmental teams, research and education networks (NRENs), private sector organizations, threat intelligence groups, and law enforcement**. Together, we share practical experiences, discuss real-world challenges, and explore ways to strengthen incident response — from local and regional infrastructures to the wider Internet ecosystem.
We invite **CSIRTs and security teams at all stages of maturity** to briefly share updates about their work, including achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and future plans. More experienced teams are encouraged to share insights that may help support and inspire newer initiatives, fostering learning and continuous improvement across the community.
These exchanges help build trusted relationships, encourage mentorship, and strengthen cooperation across sectors and borders.
Dedicated time will also be reserved to identify **shared challenges, topics of interest, and opportunities for collaboration**. Whether through joint initiatives, **threat intelligence sharing**, coordinated response efforts, or informal exchanges, the aim is to create connections that last beyond the event.
