I'm Attending!April 09, 2018April 11, 2018Agile Games 2018 - Games for High Performing Teams and Psychological SafetyUTCThe 9th annual Agile Games conference will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 thru Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Burlington, MA – just outside of Boston. This conference focuses on using games, collaborative activities and interactive exercises to support the values, principles and practices of lean and agile. The theme of this year's event is High Performing Teams and Psychological Safety
The 3-day conference focuses on interactive sessions that allow attendees to gain hands-on experience in using games to help better understand agile values & principles. The program also typically includes sessions where games & exercises are used in applied settings supporting software development and business agility – examples include: using games for product design, road mapping, team chartering, etc. We also welcome new ideas/sessions on how to apply games and interactive exercises outside of software development, including but not limited to: engaging customers, coaching management & leadership principles, business operations, human resource activities, marketing, accounting, etc.
Conference sessions selected via this Call of Papers will be used to create a 2-day program on Monday, April 9, 2018 and Tuesday, April 10, 2018 – the conference concludes with a full day open space on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Selected presenters are requested to stay and participate in the Open Space on the 3rd day of the conference.
We are seeking interactive sessions that demonstrate how games can be used to help create psychological safety for teams of all types (not just software development teams) and also exercises that enable teams and workgroups to achieve high performance.
