Hack Dearborn is an upcoming annual hackathon in southeast Michigan. Hack Dearborn will be hosted at the University of Michigan Dearborn by the Google Developer Student Clubs chapter at the University. Hack Dearborn aims to provide students with a creative space to solve problems and create real world solutions using technology.
CFP Description
The audience is university students, and the range is from undergraduate to master so the workshop topics and skill level is very flexible! We would prefer the workshop leader could create a small software demo using 2-3 technologies or a presentation on a project created in the past. Focus on tech stacks or recipes that can be used for rapid development. Keep in mind hackers only have 24 hours to implement what they learned in the workshop.
Right now we are about 250 signed-up hackers and we have many sponsors (Bosch, Yazaki, Denso, Little Caesars, and Carhartt). Workshop leaders will be given a small gift of appreciation. We are also willing to cover up to $500 in travel expenses – hotel, flight, etc.
