After a successful first edition, JanusCon is finally back! It will once again be hosted in beautiful Napoli, Italy, in 29-30 April 2024. Join us for two days of concentrated fun and learning in a very relaxed environment: we’ll make sure that, between a presentation and another, you have a taste of the excellent cuisine and hospitality Italy is renowned for!

You’ll have the opportunity to join people from all over the world to talk and learn about WebRTC and RTC in general, so we welcome and encourage submissions on those topics. While the main focus will obviously be on the Janus WebRTC Server (and you can expect several informative presentations by the Meetecho team itself), contributions to other aspects of the RTC ecosystem are welcome. JanusCon will be a single-track event, which means that each presentation will get maximum attention from all the attendees! Share your experiences or projects in a nice environment: and if you have a live demo to share as well, even better!

Accepted speakers will be granted free admission to the event, including all its perks!

NOTE: We can only grant a single ticket per presentation: co-speakers, if any, will need to purchase a ticket separately. Travel and accomodation expenses will not be covered either. Besides, all presentations will be in presence: we will not accomodate remote presentations.

CFP Description

While the main focus will of course be on presentations involving or revolving around anything Janus-related, we also welcome presentations that address novel and innovative aspects of the RTC ecosystem in general.

The presentations will last about 25 minutes, with 5 minutes for questions. If you’d like to submit a proposal for a longer presentation (e.g., a workshop or tutorial), please say so in the notes when submitting: we’ll try to accommodate your request, but in case of a tight and packed schedule this might be turned into a regular presentation instead.

All presentations will be recorded and streamed as in the first edition: if you’re uncomfortable with that, please let us know in advance so that we can take that into account.
