We’ve been described as “Australasia’s SXSW” and as “Woodstock for digital natives” (shucks!). In 2018, we welcomed over 400 startups, 1200 businesses and over 35 media outlets from across Australia.

In fact, over the course of nine years, our event has seen 50,000 movers, shakers and creative change-makers come through its doors.

Pause Fest is well known for their diverse curation presenting only the very best talent from Australia and abroad. In 2019, for the first time the event is bringing the largest cohort of international speakers in the country. Over thirty leaders from global brands like Google, Amazon, CERN, YouTube, Facebook, IBM, Quantcast, Atlassian, Cloudflare, NASA, Airbnb along with 200 of local heroes and innovators will come together over the three days.

These guests will engage in workshops, panels across seven stages and 21 content tracks from Design, Future of Work, Ai, Blockchain, Health & Wellbeing, E-sports, Smart Future, Science, Diversity & Inclusion to Education and FinTech. New program additions include Pause Incubator, Inner Circle and the next iteration of the Pause Retreat.
