Prairie Dev Con Regina 2019!
The sixteenth Prairie Dev Con will be held in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada on October 22-23 2019! This two day software development conference brings technical experts from across North America to share their knowledge and expertise with the local software developer community. The conference schedules 40 sessions covering a wide range of technical topics!
What’s covered for speakers?
The conference covers airfare and hotel for selected speakers from within North America.
We do not provide travel coverage for people outside of North America at this time.
We also do a pretty epic speaker dinner as well. Speakers are given full access to all conference sessions and activities (we think this should be a given, but we understand not all conferences do this so we wanted to make it clear)
How long are sessions and how many?
Sessions are 60 min in length, typically lecture style but we’re open to other ideas as well.
Out of town speakers are asked to do two presentations, and local speakers are asked to do one. Please submit at least two talks if you’re an out of town speaker.
What type of sessions are you looking for?
We’ll update this space with details from our attendee interest survey, but our audience routinely asks for the following:
Software Development Practices
Software Development Team Management
Data Access and Database Related Topics
Language Specific Sessions (OO, Functional, C#, F#, PHP, Java)
Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
In addition we’re looking for sessions on emerging technologies such as:
Natural User Interfaces
What equipment are speakers responsible for?
Presenters are responsible for bringing their own laptop, but all other A/V equipment will be provided.
