I am Mayra Navarro from Lima, Peru. I have been a Rails developer since 2019, and Rails has alleviated my fears about programming. I work as a software developer at Buk, where I’ve had the opportunity to participate in the internationalization process as we enter the Brazilian market. I am also a Tech Leader at WNB.rb and an organizing member at Ruby Peru. I am passionate about diversity and inclusion in technology, attending Ruby and RoR conferences, cats, doing Zumba, and my favorite Brazilian dessert is canjica com amendoim e coco.
