Electronic Engineer, Javascript enthusiast, I develop geospatial software using open source technologies on http://piensa.co. Researcher in machine learning, pattern recognition and computer vision.
Recently I was speaker in the Pycon Colombia, talking about the evolution of the machine learning and its the state of the art in a talk called “Teaching computers how to understand our world”.
Also I talk about how to find open information in the OpenDataDay conference in Colombia, where I talk about the platforms that store georeferenced data like Geonode (http://geonode.org), Worldmap (http://worldmap.harvard.edu) , and in the last project I worked on, the Billion object platform (https://github.com/cga-harvard/bop-ui).
