Rahul Ameria is a seasoned Data Management and Data Quality Lead with over 14 years of expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, he specializes in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, and Data Governance initiatives across diverse industries including social media, retail, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Currently serving as a Data Analyst at Meta Platforms Inc since August 2022, Rahul has been instrumental in implementing comprehensive data management and governance frameworks for the company’s Ads products and services. He designed a unified client identity platform for advertisers and led critical data quality enhancements for internal CRM systems through third-party integrations. Throughout his career, Rahul has demonstrated exceptional leadership in scaling data management teams and aligning cross-functional stakeholders including data engineering, data sciences, product, and legal teams. His technical prowess spans cloud data platforms, data ingestion pipeline design, and data lake management, with hands-on experience in tools like Informatica IDQ and MDM, AWS services, and various programming languages including Python and SQL. Prior to Meta, Rahul held key positions at UCB Pharma Inc, where he led comprehensive MDM strategies for Healthcare Provider and Healthcare Organization customers, and at Cox Automotive, where he spent five years designing and implementing AWS services for customer data analytics and voice of customer reporting. His extensive background includes significant tenure at Cognizant Technology Services and Tata Consultancy Services, where he worked with pharmaceutical giants like GlaxoSmithKline and Eli Lilly, implementing large-scale MDM solutions and managing complex data integration projects involving high data volumes. Rahul’s expertise extends beyond technical implementation to encompass data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance. He has partnered with data policy teams to configure regulatory requirements in MDM software and ensure data governance frameworks meet stringent audit requirements. A graduate of Vellore Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Technology degree, Rahul holds AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification and is a PCEP-Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer.
