Bio

I have been in the software engineering field for more than 20 years, many of those years writing software for Statoil (a large, multinational oil company headquartered in Norway). In addition to software development, I have worked as a project manager, line manager, software architect, data architect, information architect and enterprise architect. After spending 8,5 years as an enterprise architecture advisor on the Statoil CIO staff, I have for the past 3 years worked with software and innovation at the Statoil research center in Trondheim, Norway. In this role, I have focused on architecting good ideas into a solid software architecture foundation, setting the direction for developing the ideas into useful software for Statoil.

I am an experienced SATURN talker, and have been talking at SATURN almost every year since 2011. In addition to speaking at SATURN I regularly speak at other industry events on topics related to software development and architecture.

When I am not posed over my keyboard, I enjoy horseback riding in the mountains of Norway, as well as try my creative skills as a developer.
