Bio
Kelsey (also known by her middle-name Karin) has been a web app engineer for over 5 years. She thrives on collaboration and knowledge sharing and is proud to say she has found that ideal environment working at Honor. She has spent most of the last couple years focusing on back-end python, dabbling and wrangling various third party API’s, and building fancy software architecture. In her spare time, she mentors Hackbright students and graduates, in the hopes of working with more women in tech. She has spoken at various conferences and events on topics ranging from tips for language learning beyond the tutorial to how she spent her summer of 2017 teaching for Girls Who Code. She is passionate about supporting new learners and sharing her knowledge, experience and pain with others.
