Bio
Abe is a Midwest-based Solutions Engineer for Gravitational, creators of the popular ssh+kubectl bastion project called Teleport and a snapshot-based Kubernetes cluster packager called Gravity. Prior he was a Director of Engineering at Ticketmaster responsible for containerizing its horrid VAX PDP-11 ticketing system, and before that he was a Principal SRE in London, England for a high-frequency sports betting exchange. When not working with teams crossing the chasm between procedural scripts and declarative APIs, or reflexively refreshing Hacker News, Abe enjoys playing Ice Hockey and using 220-volt power tools to build tree houses with his three young daughters.
