Daniel Fireman started programming last century and haven’t stopped since. After his undergrad at UFCG and MSc at UFMG, he joined Google and spent 6+ years working in multiple offices (NYC, ZRH, BHZ) and on important projects like Google My Business and improving efficiency of Google’s Java HTTP/RPC server framework. There he met Go and fell in love.
Nowadays, Daniel is teaching at Instituto Federal de Alagoas and doing a Ph.D. at UFCG. He also spends quite a lot of time programming in Go to improve citizenship, make data analysis faster/easier, evaluate performance and hack devices. He is interested in cutting-edge technologies related to distributed systems, cloud computing, microservices and serverless computing.
