Ungku Fazri U. Farid obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and is currently a Research Geophysicist at PETRONAS Research. His job entails research and deployment of in-house Seismic Imaging applications for Oil & Gas Exploration and Development. He’s deeply passionate about Machine & Deep Learning, and how to adopt these methods in solving challenging industry-related problems.
