Hi! My name is Pietra Freitas, I’m Brazilian, I’m 22 years old and mother of two cats. Currently, I’m a consultant developer at ThoughtWorks Brazil and also a computer science student at UFRGS (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul) - currently ranked, by Brazil’s Ministry of Education, #1 federal university in Brazil. I have almost 3 years of professional experience in software development, both front and backend. I’m also co-founder and student representative of program.ada Mulheres da computação, which aims to support and encourage women in tech inside university environment. In 2018, I had the opportunity to live, for almost 2 months, in China, attending to a training course provided by ThoughtWorks for junior consultants. As a speaker, I had the opportunity to talk in the 2017 Forum RNP (Nacional Research Network) about a high-definition videoconference system, which I was in developing. Also as a speaker, in 2018, I presented a talk about The Three Ways of DevOps in The Developer’s Conference Porto Alegre.
