Zeeshan Anwar is the Director of Financial and HR Systems in Dept. of Eduction, NYC. A Core Technologist over 18 years of IT experience and 8 years of teaching experience. Zeeshan provides leadership for continuous and robust development in the largest school system of the world. In his current role he provides design and roadmap of Financial and HR products while working closely with stakeholders. Zeeshan took the initiative of introducing the modern technologies in Dept. of Education and move all legacy platforms to new platforms such as Big Data, streaming and micro services.
Earlier in his carrier he worked as Project Manager and Architect on multiple projects ranging from creating development tools developers, Microsoft CRM and development of open source enterprises database to name few.
He has a Masters degree in Computer Sciences and Certifications in Microsoft, mongoDB and Enterprise Cloud Architecture. He has Interest in machine learning and Data Sciences by using Scala and R. Currently pursing Data Science programs from Harvardx (online programs of Harvard University)
