Psychology of making a good review

All of us makes code review everyday. All of us also learn something, ask everyone. Seniors, principals are great heros for juniors, but many times they become like hard math teacher in high school - like a monster! We cannot be cruel for someone new in our company or our colleagues.

Doing a great code review is an art. It is not only about code quality, but first of all it is all about people. We cannot be cruel, we cannot use dirty language. We cannot say that someone’s code smells even if it does. It is all about culture and balance between good advice and being pitiless. Let’s be a person who show how simple it can be, not a person who says how clever he is.

This talk will be about culture (I will bind it with culture of other nations like India, Holland, USA), about psychology (I will bind it with sport culture) and about code quality. It will be valuable for all software eng as for managers, scrum masters.
